The Mavi People project was designed as the digital leg of the Mavi Jeans 2010 communication campaign “Here is Istanbul”. The interactive website with “Get the role with your style!” tagline offers a platform where stylish teenagers are selected to take part in the TV commercials.
In the website, participants sent videos and photographs reflecting their fictional styles within their “Here is Istanbul” concept. With the integration of Facebook, the participants shared their videos and photos through social media. As a result of the voting, selected stylish teenagers took part in Mavi Jeans’ advertisements.
The practical use of the menu found in the design of the homepage was prepared as a site map using the profile photos of the participants. This also reflected the creative design approach of Mavi. Menu properties are presented with options, like fast webcam access, for those who would like to take and upload their instant photographs and display by filtering the participants.
